Personal Notes: I have been greatly influenced by Oriental art. Line, simplicity, and balance are characteristic of my art. Other characteristics are the frequent use of silver or gold, and design. I work a lot in mixed media, which may include watercolors, acrylics, colored pencil, pen and ink, graphite pencil, and pastels. I am contemporary rather than traditional. Some of my work is representational, but most of it is not. I feel this gives me greater freedom for creativity and originality. My long-term goals are for my work to be reproduced through an art publisher, and to combine my art and poetry into a marketable product. If I could accomplish one thing with my art, it would be to touch someone's heart in a positive and uplifting manner. Faces are my particular interest and enjoyment, but Christian art is my true passion and calling.
